What is STMLEX?

STMLEX is a content discovery and curation platform for short dramas (短剧). We help viewers find and enjoy short-form drama content that is published on YouTube by third-party creators, organized in one easy-to-browse destination.

How It Works — Three Separate Roles

It is important to understand the distinction between the parties involved:

• Third-party creators produce and upload short drama videos to their own YouTube channels. They are the content owners.
• YouTube hosts and serves these videos on its platform.
• STMLEX discovers, organizes, and indexes these videos. We do not upload, host, or own any video content.

Here is exactly what STMLEX does:

1. Discover — Our automated system monitors hundreds of YouTube channels that publish short dramas, identifying new content as it appears on YouTube.
2. Organize — Using AI, we rewrite video titles (removing promotional clutter and creator-specific branding), generate concise descriptions, assign relevant tags, and categorize content into genres such as Romance, Historical, Suspense, Comedy, and more.
3. Present — We display organized video listings on our Site. When you click to watch, the video plays directly from YouTube through YouTube's embedded player. No video data passes through our servers.

Think of STMLEX as a specialized search engine and TV guide for short dramas on YouTube. We help you find content — we do not create or host it.

If a video is removed from YouTube by its creator or by YouTube's copyright enforcement, it instantly and automatically becomes unavailable on our Site.
